I trained at Mabel Fletcher Technical College in the late 80s and my first job after leaving was a three month stint in the Costume Department at Colchester Mercury Theatre.

Next I went to Cosprop and then the BBC before embarking on a 2 year travelling experience in the USA where I got to make Costumes for Mardi Gras in New Orleans.

Returning to the UK I worked in the chorus ballet  workroom at the Royal Opera House and the Mens Tailoring Department at the English National Opera.

I took a year out of employment to return to studying at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama where I completed a Postgraduate Degree in Stage Design.

I worked on the London Fringe scene as a stage designer and in various positions at the National Film School including art departments, continuity, sound departments and wardrobe.

I established myself as a freelance Costume Maker in 1993 and have worked on various productions for TV, Film and Theatre as well as a number of prop houses including Asylum FX.
